Less live, more online!!!

I have been playing in a consistant live game for 3 years. It is always a great time and I absolutely believe that I am a very good solid live game player. On any given night, there will be a bot 2 donks at the table. Then it becomes a race...Who will get the donks chips first!?!?!? This makes the table go crazy for the first hour of the game usually. All in 1 out of 3 pots in a cash game. It is really bad, haha. Tight players come out to try to catch the fish and loose players play borderline crazy.

I really enjoy the game and the people I play with, but I believe that if I give online more of a chance and more of my time, I can really make a lot of $$$. Even though I am technically playing higher stakes live, I will be playing at larger stakes online very soon. While my stakes online become larger the live game will always be the same. I recently switched my accounts from full tilt to pokerstars. I had a lot on full tilt, but I only placed $150.00 of it into my pokerstars account. I joined pokerstars for the the very large tournaments.

I have played the cash games...not too well so far. I also tried playing a lot of micro mtt's with very little success until I won a 4.40 180 man sng for $216.00. Until I am more comfortable online, I will be staying away form the cash games...I just feel nervous on any decent sized pot I am in and it effects my play dramatically. Right now I am at about $280.00. I plan on playing a lot of 4.40's and then also a lot of $10.00 sng's to build my bankroll. I would also like to be in the 100k guarantee every Sunday so I will now try to free up space during my Sunday afternoon for it. Winner usually ends up with 18k for a $10.00 buy in ( Yea, sick I know.) I don't plan on winning it, but final tabling the event would result in about 1-3k payday and much more for 4th-1st.

I believe I play very well live. I think I have great reading abilities to determine the hands that my opponents have. The only part of my reading abilities that I believe I need to improve on is understanding betting patterns to determine what opponents may have. That is why I think I have not hit a big payday online. Online poker can only give me betting patterns and betting speed as a read. I plan on playing more online poker to get to the higher stakes and to improve my reading ability with betting patterns. Wish me luck. Sorry, to the live game players that this may effect.
