Maybe I got a little too cute with my aces...NOT! I think I played this hand very well, but after the flop it was pretty much 50/50 so I couldn't be angry with the way my opponent played his hand... Notice I raise less than 3 times the big blind. Most players that do this have weak hands so it was deceptive, but I also wanted at least 1 caller for some more value on my hand. Check it out...

Also, I played in a 5$ MTT finishing in 51st out of 440...5 spots out of the money ( only 8.15$)

and I played another 10$ MTT which I finished 38 out of about 300...2 spots out of the money...I know sucks.... I ran into ACES preflop against my Queens!!! Other than that I could have at least made it to the $12.75 cash place... O well... Tomorrow is another day that I will hope to push through the bubble!!!

Finally, SNGs have been going really well lately and I cashed in about 8 of 12 in them tonight. I will continue to play them to keep my BR even while I try to take down a big MTT.

FIRST POST

Welcome to my blog. I am doing this to track my poker results and to keep things that I have learned fresh in my memory. I am also doing this so that you guys can get a look into my poker mind. I am always open for discussion about what I say and willing to give some help as well.

As of lately, I have been trying to make a transition from Turbo SNGS to becoming a MTT player...It has taken a decent hit on my br, but I expected it because of the great risk great reward for a MTT. Easy explanation...Its a lot harder to beat 200 players than it is to beat 6 to get into the money. Tonight, I may put up some hands and some things that I follow by in SNGS and MTT's. Tonight, I will be playing in the daily double tournament of FTP along with Midnight madness which is actually at 11pm here... so rail me if you want to see some pwnege.
