I just had a chance to make the big bucks in a tournament and I blew it. I am not really upset, but the difference in 26k and $85 is pretty drastic. I played exceptionally well, but I made a read late and although the read was solid I was still beat. In the hand I thought that 2nd pair was good on 1087 board and I thought that my opponent was betting with a straight draw. It ended up being 99 so although I was right, it kind of backfired on me. O well.... You cant expect to runt hat deep in such a field ever again, but I can defy the odds again I am sure.
Other that the tournament, online poker has been slow and break even since my downswing early august. My nursing school orientation is tomorrow so poker will be put in the background for awhile. That is all for now.
PS. I was talked into getting an LA Fitness membership so lets see if this helps me getting jacked and lean!
